1. Who We Are

The Syndicate Suite ("we," "us," "our") is a Shopify app publisher providing SEO, review, schema, and content tools to Shopify merchants. Our website is getsyndicate.app and our app is distributed through the Shopify App Store.

2. What Data We Collect

When you install The Syndicate Suite, we collect and store the following data:

• Shop domain — your .myshopify.com URL, used to identify your store
• Access token — a Shopify-issued token that allows our app to interact with your store data within your approved scopes
• Shop email and name — provided by Shopify at install, used to send onboarding communications
• Tool usage logs — which tools you use and when, stored anonymously per store for performance monitoring
• Content you submit to tools — URLs, keywords, review text, and page content submitted to our AI tools are processed to generate outputs and are not stored permanently

3. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your store and provide app functionality
• To process billing through Shopify's Billing API
• To send transactional emails (welcome, billing notifications)
• To monitor app performance and fix issues
• To generate AI-powered outputs from content you submit

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your store's customer data for any purpose other than providing the service you requested.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Railway.app servers located in the United States. Each merchant's data is isolated by store domain — no merchant can access another merchant's data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access tokens are stored securely and never exposed in client-side code.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate The Syndicate Suite:

• Shopify — authentication, billing, and merchant data access
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered tool outputs. Content submitted to our tools may be processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic does not store submitted content to train models.
• Railway.app — infrastructure and database hosting

6. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To request data deletion, uninstall The Syndicate Suite from your Shopify admin — this triggers automatic deletion of your store's data from our systems within 30 days. 7. Shopify App Store Compliance

The Syndicate Suite is built in compliance with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms of Service. We only request the minimum API scopes necessary to provide our tools. We do not use Shopify's API to collect data beyond what is required for the service you have installed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify merchants of material changes to this policy via email to the address on file with your Shopify store. Continued use of the app after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
